Wraparound Care Lead

Salary: Grade 3 – 11 hours per week (Term Time Only)
Breakfast Club: Monday to Friday, 7:45 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.
After-School Club: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to be the lead staff member for our Wraparound Care provision. For your application to be successful, you will be able to offer some or all of the following:

  • experience of working with children, preferably in a primary setting;
  • commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles inc. preparing breakfast and snacks;
  • confidence in organising and leading engaging and safe activities for children before and after school, fostering a positive and welcoming environment;
  • an ability to be fair, apply equal opportunities at all times and understand the importance of confidentiality;
  • good organisation skills and an ability to communicate effectively with parents and carers;
  • evidence of team working and an ability to use your own initiative; and
  • a growth mind-set demonstrating an ability to seek solutions rather than problems.

Salary Range: £24,796 -  £25,185 (pro rata) [£12.85 - £13.05 per hour]

School Cleaner

Salary: Grade 2 – 15 hours per week (Term Time Only)
Monday-Friday (preferably afternoons; exact hours to be agreed)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and practical individual to work in our vibrant, welcoming and supportive village school. For your application to be successful, you will be able to offer:

  • experience of working in a practical role, with a good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene;
  • a responsible approach to health & safety, showing consideration for colleagues and pupils, alongside a willingness to learn and follow procedures;
  • an understanding of the importance of completing daily and weekly cleaning routines, and contributing to a safe, welcoming environment;
  • good organisational skills, including the ability to keep cleaning areas and equipment tidy and maintain simple records where required;
  • the ability to use your own initiative, prioritise tasks effectively, and seek support when needed to ensure the school remains clean and safe; and
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a conscientious and reliable approach that positively impacts the school environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Midday Meals Supervisor (MMS)

Salary: Grade 2 – 6 ¼ hours per week (Term Time Only)
Monday-Friday 12:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, approachable and caring individual to join our vibrant, welcoming and supportive village school. For your application to be successful, you will be able to offer some or all of the following:

  • a great role model who enjoys working with children, preferably in a primary setting;
  • committed to maintaining high standards of engagement and behaviour for all;
  • confident in ensuring that all pupils are safe and happy;
  • an ability to be fair, apply equal opportunities at all times and understand the importance of confidentiality;
  • adaptable in their approach and keen to motivate pupils to eat healthily and make good choices;
  • evidence of team working and an ability to use your own initiative;
  • a First Aid qualification or the willingness to train; and
  • a growth mind-set demonstrating an ability to seek solutions rather than problems.

This is a permanent appointment with a six months probationary period, subject to satisfactory service.
